Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marcus Abrahamsson made the kick off which started today's match. When Hegedus Henrik came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hegedus Henrik couldn't finish the play. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Esperance's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Vladimír Maslachenko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balazs Lajos, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Vladimír Maslachenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Abrahamsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felix Kazachenok was slow to take the kick. During this time Esperance's players had a chance to rest. Takacs Tibor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimír Maslachenko having to make a save. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Vladimír Maslachenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Pavel Vorobiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bram Boonen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Esperance's Gleb Elkibaev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Antal Valentin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Antal Valentin got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute Gleb Elkibaev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavel Vorobiev kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimír Maslachenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Abrahamsson in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Vladimír Maslachenko in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bram Boonen in the 77th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Bram Boonen notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimír Maslachenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esperance's Iosif Amosov was substituted for Gleb Elkibaev. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute, Takacs Tibor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Amosov, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Esperance players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
