In the 58th minute, Newcastle United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Balazs Lajos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 62 minutes, Olgierd Wojtowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kajetan Kochniarczyk might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kajetan Kochniarczyk ran back to his position shaking his head. Hungary played a much better game than Newcastle United and deserved their victory. The Newcastle United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
