Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Viriato Moura took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Refik Ülgü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Tenyo Fakirov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. Georgi Velinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viriato Moura in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georgi Velinov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Georgi Velinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ahmet Refik Ülgü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Refik Ülgü came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC CSKA's Ahmet Refik Ülgü got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC CSKA's Tenyo Fakirov got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 16 minutes of play, FC CSKA's Ahmet Refik Ülgü made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ahmet Refik Ülgü managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC CSKA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Refik Ülgü was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Georgi Velinov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A sloppy throw-in by Tenyo Fakirov in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. Ahmet Refik Ülgü struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC CSKA. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Georgi Velinov in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Faustino Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. 74 minutes into the match, Ahmet Refik Ülgü had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Refik Ülgü was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. FC CSKA made a substitution. Arnulfo Roderigo replaced Ruslan Dzhalev. Georgi Velinov was a little too slow when Felipinho Amorim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 3-1. FC CSKA's Todor Yanchev was substituted for Long Ling Wei. The supporters of Portugal booed when FC CSKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanel Kiik didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Felipinho Amorim put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Georgi Velinov. FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 87th minute of play forced FC CSKA's goalkeeper Georgi Velinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georgi Dimitrov in the 89th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
