Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Francis in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nistor Maghiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Maksymilian Bulkiewicz got a free kick in the 13th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Roland Kolacki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Kolacki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maksymilian Bulkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute of the match, Elpidio Francis sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Nistor Maghiar showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Elpidio Francis took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nistor Maghiar. Nistor Maghiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Allan Shearer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elpidio Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nistor Maghiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Allan Shearer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Esteban Iztal getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Shearer in the 58th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Elpidio Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Maghiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Maghiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Gabon in the 62nd minute of the match. Venancio Havier was slow to take the kick. During this time ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's players had a chance to rest. Minerul Baita -MM- were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA for a fine match.
