Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Valdis Felbergs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some careless play in the Black horses defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdis Felbergs. The Black horses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdis Felbergs should have stopped the shot. Valdis Felbergs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Sauveur in the 12th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakub Swierczok received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atso Joenväärä in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 18th minute of play forced Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdis Felbergs. Black horses's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 26 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Cipriano Sauveur tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Jakub Swierczok had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jakub Swierczok was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valdis Felbergs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 34th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Bas Tuitert. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Sauveur was the one to do the kick off. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry Houben, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Valdis Felbergs was a little too slow when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 3-3. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Swierczok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Sauveur came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Black horses's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Balvis Kiberkalns charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Balvis Kiberkalns the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Black horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balvis Kiberkalns to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdis Felbergs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Swierczok, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Wim Wilmes scored 3-5 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdis Felbergs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Sauveur in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Sauveur in the 81st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andžs Redzobs during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdis Felbergs was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-6. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Kristiāns Princāns recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Netherlands's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
