Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The long shot by Jorge Martínez in the 7th minute really tested Wilson Amorim's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Perico Pérez was slow to take the kick. During this time Talleres's players had a chance to rest. Perico Pérez kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Tab. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Manuelo in the 28th minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Tab, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 30 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Perico Pérez who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Martínez in the 33rd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cecilio Lastur having to make a save. 36 minutes into the match, Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Cecilio Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cecilio Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Cecilio Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Manuelo in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Felipe Barreto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cecilio Lastur was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

Talleres made a substitution. Lukita Modrić replaced Sergiu Bulencea. 53 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cecilio Lastur. Talleres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Jorge Martínez came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Martínez couldn't finish the play. Portugal made a substitution. The supporters of Talleres booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viriato Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Talleres:s Cecilio Lastur showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Pimentel:s penalty. In the 74th match minute, Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Martínez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alfredo Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peker Durusoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Tab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 84th minute, Josef Tunberg made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 93rd minute, Alfredo Tab got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Tab might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Tab ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfredo Tab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Josef Tunberg made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Talleres had played much better football throughout.
