Northern Titans's Bert Struik was substituted for Maikel Lammers. Denmark's Theis Winther managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arjen Saanen in the 88 minute of the game. With 92 minutes on the clock, Mathias Ludvigsen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Denmark's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
