Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Omar Toledo started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Adria Bielsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Omar Toledo was slow to take the kick. During this time Spain's players had a chance to rest. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Toledo in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Blas Frances hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Nicasio Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Toledo in the 25th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Blomkvist in the 30th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Nicasio Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestino Mannie struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Gabriel Ascaso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥. Nicasio Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Toledo in the 40th minute of the match. Kosmas Banasopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th match minute, Spain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Omar Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celestino Mannie made a kick off. Jon Cubero charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jon Cubero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Toledo got free with Nicasio Abad in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Omar Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pietro Salles in the 60th minute of the match. Nicasio Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 62nd minute of play. When Samuel Nava fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s protests and gave Samuel Nava a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Spain:s goal. In the 66th minute, Omar Toledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicasio Abad was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Nicasio Abad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Toledo in the 74th minute. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. Baldomero Ilazki replaced Celestino Mannie. In the 78th minute of the match Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a corner. Spain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kosmas Banasopoulos ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s corner Kosmas Banasopoulos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gabriel Ascaso quite easily take care of the ball. After 81 minutes, Adria Bielsa made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Spain's Sergio Ruiz was substituted for Adria Bielsa. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ from getting a goal against them. 98 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Ilazki came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 99th minute of play. Spain's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
