The supporters of Atletico San Jacopino booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boros Benedek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Paganelli during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aldo Paganelli hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Atletico San Jacopino's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. After a rather tough play, Atletico San Jacopino's Baltasar Baristo got a free kick in the 21st minute. Antal Valentin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Aurelio Di Luca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antal Valentin's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Er Didia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atletico San Jacopino's Aurelio Di Luca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 33rd minute of play. After 38 minutes, Fedele Marzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico San Jacopino and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 40th minute. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aurelio Di Luca quite easily take care of the ball. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Di Luca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Er Didia made the kick off in the second half. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 53rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Major Barna managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Aurelio Di Luca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antal Valentin's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Er Didia in the 57th minute of play. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atletico San Jacopino made a substitution. Nik Tjæder replaced Amos Atroce. Antal Valentin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelio Di Luca came out and tried to block the shot, but Antal Valentin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 64th minute. After 71 played minutes Atletico San Jacopino got a freekick which was hit by Armando Di Prinzio. In the 73rd match minute, Atletico San Jacopino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Di Prinzio to maneuver through the defense.
