Oğuzer Cesur struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GÜMELİSPOR. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vecdi Yurday read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vecdi Yurday prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Selçuk Durcan came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oğuzer Cesur's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match, Selçuk Durcan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. GÜMELİSPOR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexei Perju in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oğuzer Cesur to make the kick off. A hard shot 51 in the game by Frank Sachs from a close distance when the talented Vecdi Yurday managed to make a qualified save. GÜMELİSPOR's players were relieved. Selçuk Durcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GÜMELİSPOR's Sacit Lütfi was substituted for Gökcan Ünaldi. When Alexei Perju came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the GÜMELİSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexei Perju couldn't finish the play. After 70 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Alexei Perju came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the GÜMELİSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexei Perju couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Oğuzer Cesur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GÜMELİSPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. GÜMELİSPOR were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alexei Perju took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Julian Uxio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Selçuk Durcan struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GÜMELİSPOR. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. GÜMELİSPOR fully deserved thier win.
