But to his dismay, Zheng Liang Song quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Raymond Foubert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Takacs Tibor in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raymond Foubert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Song Peng Xi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Etxepare's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fodor Daniel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raymond Foubert having to make a save. In the 38th minute, Takacs Tibor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raymond Foubert was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Foubert having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Song Peng Xi in the 47th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olympique Salonais's Song Peng Xi got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Hector Etxepare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Foubert having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raymond Foubert. Olympique Salonais's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Olympique Salonais's Tang Xi Zhen got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 70 played minutes Olympique Salonais got a freekick which was hit by Tang Xi Zhen. When Song Peng Xi came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Olympique Salonais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Song Peng Xi couldn't finish the play.
