Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Miles Forbes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miles Forbes came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Major Barna. But to his dismay, Major Barna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, River tu grato nombre's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Miles Forbes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miles Forbes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miles Forbes having to interfere.
