Nichol Clark might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urbes Cenzano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nichol Clark ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Barrionuevo in the 31st minute of play forced BES MUDI BANDITS's goalkeeper Blake Kinnaird to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Todd Crampton struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Urbes Cenzano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BES MUDI BANDITS. Urki Espino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blake Kinnaird having to interfere. The Club Puerto Quito players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BES MUDI BANDITS were winning 1-2.

After 76 minutes, Stewart Watson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BES MUDI BANDITS and the Club Puerto Quito players grew even worse after the yellow card. Urbes Cenzano was a little too slow when Nichol Clark got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-4. The Club Puerto Quito manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing BES MUDI BANDITS to win.
