João Freire's late challenge caught a Leripe Lifestyle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Freire helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, João Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Cauã Munhoz could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Lenílson Quintal however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 38 minutes, Breno Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BRASIL.Sp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute of the match, Alfredo Bastos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lenílson Quintal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino Penha came free, but Lenílson Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Alfredo Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, BRASIL.Sp's João Paulista threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cafu Azevedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 66 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Cerezo. After some careless play in the Leripe Lifestyle defense, João Freire kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Paulista. The Leripe Lifestyle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Paulista should have stopped the shot. After 86 played minutes Leripe Lifestyle got a freekick which was hit by Cauã Munhoz. Leripe Lifestyle made a substitution. Gualter Vander replaced Geovânio Torres. Cauã Munhoz hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, Júnior Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BRASIL.Sp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leripe Lifestyle the free kick.
