Aimar Aimar was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Ique Football Club's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Caetano Pontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbes Cenzano. Club Puerto Quito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caetano Pontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 22 minutes, Pico Garonaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Puerto Quito and the Ique Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Urbes Cenzano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aimar Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Aimar Aimar came free, but Urbes Cenzano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
