In the 6th match minute, Czechia Hradec Králové was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Demeter to maneuver through the defense. The corner led COPO CHEIO's Nildo do Valle to fire away a dangerous shot which Bonito Marschall despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bonito Marschall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Braga in the 20th minute of the match. Čestmír Bozděch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lam Para having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Tomáš Urbančík elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Wellington Lopez charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wellington Lopez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Czechia Hradec Králové booed when COPO CHEIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. COPO CHEIO's Lam Para played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Čestmír Bozděch in the 32nd minute of play. If Tomáš Urbančík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lam Para was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Čestmír Bozděch capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Čestmír Bozděch really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 44th minute, Filipe Meirelles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bonito Marschall was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
