Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aimar Aimar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute Aimar Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lam Para saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. COPO CHEIO's Lam Para played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Arruda in the 28th minute of play. Fabrício Ribeiro's late challenge caught a Ique Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabrício Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. 34 minutes into the game, Ique Football Club's Aimar Aimar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lam Para made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Lam Para stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aimar Aimar's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. The supporters of COPO CHEIO booed when Ique Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aílton Falcão couldn't finish the play. Lam Para came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Ique Football Club's Aimar Aimar. But to his dismay, Aimar Aimar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Aimar Aimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lam Para having to interfere. Lam Para stood somewhat misplaced when Aimar Aimar came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 84 minute. If Caetano Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, COPO CHEIO's Dedé Negri got a free kick in the 89th minute. Moisés Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lam Para having to interfere. Ique Football Club played a much better game than COPO CHEIO and deserved their victory. The COPO CHEIO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
