Wieslaw Kasprzak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aimar Aimar in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wieslaw Kasprzak saved Amatorzy Kopania from getting behind. Czeslaw Kopacz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Leme having to interfere. In the 41st minute Aimar Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wieslaw Kasprzak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aimar Aimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wieslaw Kasprzak having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Konstanty Ciechanowicz was the one to do the kick off.
