The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albino Aztore during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Puerto Quito booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Aztore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Froilan Llorian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urki Espino in the 30th minute of the match. Urbes Cenzano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Natal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pepito Plasencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Puerto Quito's Urki Espino got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Pepito Plasencia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Almeyra F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oswaldo Barrionuevo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Esteban Laurentzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almeyra F.C. and the Club Puerto Quito players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Almeyra F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Laurentzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Pepito Plasencia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd match minute, Club Puerto Quito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Barrionuevo to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Barrionuevo came free, but Froilan Llorian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Urbes Cenzano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Almeyra F.C.'s Fulgencio Natal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Urbes Cenzano. That made the score 0-4 after 81 minutes of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Alejo Kaxen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almeyra F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Kaxen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Froilan Llorian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Barrionuevo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Froilan Llorian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urki Espino in the 88th minute of the match. Pepito Plasencia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Llorian having to interfere. Leonardo Paublo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
