The 1948 MKS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ter Stegen should have stopped the shot. Lennart Kempeneers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aban McBjarton in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Torrey Molloy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Kempeneers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennart Kempeneers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torrey Molloy, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Sons of anarchy's Dawid Kania sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ter Stegen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute Dawid Kania shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ter Stegen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. With a little luck, Sons of anarchy's Lennart Kempeneers got control of the ball when Torrey Molloy tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Dawid Kania came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Dawid Kania in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Aban McBjarton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1948 MKS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aban McBjarton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Sons of anarchy's Dawid Kania sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ter Stegen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sons of anarchy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sabin Lupoaia in the 43rd minute. Marian Rydz made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 1948 MKS's Fábio Salgueiro. After the first half Sons of anarchy were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aban McBjarton to strike the kick off in the second half. Sons of anarchy were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after 1948 MKS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sabin Lupoaia took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dawid Kania in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ter Stegen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnold McDecland hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 1948 MKS made a substitution. Rigan Frankson replaced Aban McBjarton. Sons of anarchy's Jan-Ove Hjälm was substituted for Necati Ergüleç. Arnold McDecland kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Gwidon Mochowak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Rudy Lukas in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sons of anarchy's Marian Rydz. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Torrey Molloy managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1948 MKS's supporters rose to their feet, but Torrey Molloy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennart Kempeneers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90thth minute of the game Gwidon Mochowak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 91 minutes of play, 1948 MKS's Rigan Frankson made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lennart Kempeneers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Mochowak in the 95th minute of the match. The 1948 MKS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sons of anarchy's performance. The match ended with a win for Sons of anarchy.
