Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Agustín Álvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustín Álvarez in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. Ospetsu Villarmerin hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Montevideo City Torque's Agustín Álvarez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Casper Claes. Casper Claes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's Gu Sha Zhen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Montevideo City Torque's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ospetsu Villarmerin in the 17th minute. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler. Christophe Troxler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the game, Agustín Álvarez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Casper Claes. Agustín Álvarez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Agustín Álvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christophe Troxler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christophe Troxler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Lenny Clocheret managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenny Clocheret was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agustín Álvarez was the one to do the kick off. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Agustín Álvarez notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Christophe Troxler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Christophe Troxler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Agustín Álvarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montevideo City Torque fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. In the 66th minute Agustín Álvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Álvarez in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Gu Sha Zhen came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Christophe Troxler made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Christophe Troxler in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christophe Troxler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-4 was the resulting score. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Álvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Sander Dermaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgium's supporters rose to their feet, but Sander Dermaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christophe Troxler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christophe Troxler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 91st minute. The supporters of Belgium booed when Montevideo City Torque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yves Dervaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belgium's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Montevideo City Torque had won, even though Belgium had held more of the ball.
