Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eladio Ulloa. Gino Tonić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gino Tonić was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 16th minute Eladio Ulloa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute of the match, Oğuzhan Öksak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gino Tonić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 29th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuzhan Öksak, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Pepe Rojas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ballet Azul's Gino Tonić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 34th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Ballet Azul got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzhan Öksak. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Oğuzhan Öksak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers, 1-1. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great ball. Ballet Azul's Pepe Rojas got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 52 minutes, Eulalio Callejas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballet Azul and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Ballet Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Callejas to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gino Tonić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eladio Ulloa struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballet Azul. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eladio Ulloa in the 61st minute of the match. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Callejas, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eladio Ulloa's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Gino Tonić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 67th minute of play. Ballet Azul's Odín Enríquez was substituted for Eulalio Callejas. In the 69th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Netherlands's Lars Meesters getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Gino Tonić in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Ballet Azul fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Ballet Azul's Eladio Ulloa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gino Tonić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuzhan Öksak in the 80th minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gino Tonić saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 90th minute Cristián Fenieux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Don Juan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odín Enríquez in the 94th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Netherlands had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
