He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin reached it. In the 64th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Haraldsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Major Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Eric Haraldsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Eric Haraldsson in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's Eric Haraldsson got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Arne Tunström's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
