Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Finn Frigger put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Nils Hedlund scored 5-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Jaime Moeskes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Jaime Moeskes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena's Ronaldo Küfer got a free kick in the 67th minute. Albin Holweck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Campos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Molau in the 69th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena's Jorge Campos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena from getting a goal against them. Finn Frigger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. If Fritz Molau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
