Barbaros Bozbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 5th minute of the match. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Germany! After 8 minutes Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn managed, with a little bit of luck, save Tobias Otsoa's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Richard Nixon took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. Richard Nixon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Richard Nixon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Richard Nixon really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 26th minute, The Cavern Club's Richard Nixon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Nixon in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Willy Stieler made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by The Cavern Club's Santiago Emesto. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Nixon in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Richard Nixon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Richard Nixon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cavern Club's Geovani Mendonça was substituted for Richard Nixon. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovani Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Ramon Piarres kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute, Gonzalo Vergaray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovani Mendonça went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 84th match minute, The Cavern Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to The Cavern Club getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Uğur Erçelik hit a great ball. After 95 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tobias Otsoa who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Gonzalo Vergaray heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The Cavern Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
