Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amado Valverde during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 2 played minutes Altamora FC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Valverde. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amado Valverde kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Tiburcio Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiburcio Liher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Amado Valverde hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Teófilo Estrela charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teófilo Estrela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Altamora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teófilo Estrela didn't get a good kick on the ball. A well done corner resulted in Gijsbert ter Kruimer drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Altamora FC's goalkeeper. After a rather tough play, Altamora FC's Duarte Garcia got a free kick in the 25th minute. Tiburcio Liher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 26th minute of the match. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 27th minute. Lars Meesters made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Altamora FC's Tiburcio Liher managed to reach the ball for a save. Tiburcio Liher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Tiburcio Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 30th minute of play. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Kees Mooiweer with Lars Meesters as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 33rd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Liher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teófilo Estrela hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiburcio Liher. Altamora FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Tiburcio Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiburcio Liher was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimmy Ekström to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Jimmy Ekström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Liher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Altamora FC's Rolf Pocobello was substituted for Duarte Garcia. Altamora FC made a substitution. Rodrigo Leão replaced Maximino Gizon. Altamora FC made a substitution. Manuel Azenha replaced Teófilo Estrela. Tiburcio Liher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Tiburcio Liher made a huge save. A collision led to Altamora FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Amado Valverde hit a great ball. Tiburcio Liher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Liher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 84th minute of play forced Altamora FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Liher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Géza Bogdán in the 94th minute of play.
