But to his dismay, Boruc Poling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Compostela FSCMZ's Jaroslaw Niezgoda got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Zijdewind SC's Luuk Meppelink got control of the ball when Chicão Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's Jaroslaw Niezgoda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luuk Meppelink narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Damien Schimmel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zijdewind SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Compostela FSCMZ the free kick. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaroslaw Niezgoda to make the kick off. After 51st play minutes Chicão Cerezo shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Luuk Meppelink and just under the crossbar into goal. Luuk Meppelink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chicão Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Compostela FSCMZ's Inácio Mattos was substituted for Robert Kornatowski. After a rather tough play, Zijdewind SC's Daniël De Leeuw got a free kick in the 56th minute. Zijdewind SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chicão Cerezo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Jaroslaw Niezgoda struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Luuk Meppelink didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Compostela FSCMZ.
