Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Fidel Jokin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Vipos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Gervasio Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Ixaka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Ixaka saved Vipos FC from getting behind. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vipos FC's Gervasio Ixaka did a great save. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Zeledon Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 30th minute of play forced Vipos FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Ixaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Vipos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Grilli in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Dino Grilli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Gervasio Ixaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 75th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vipos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Netherlands had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
