The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Gitarriu's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Damian Tipinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Lundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hegedus Henrik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gitarriu's Damian Tipinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 44th minute of play. Frankie Yankovich charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 94th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vörös Henrik to maneuver through the defense. The Gitarriu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
