Genaro Quiroga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeusz Koczara's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Esteban Torres hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Asier Solano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Genaro Quiroga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Chrobak in the 15th minute of the match. Krzysztof Oleszak was a little too slow when Romulo Casado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 30th minute of the match River Plate got a corner. Real Zamość's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eleuterio Efraim ran over to the corner to take the kick. Witomir Zdrojewski tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Krzysztof Oleszak. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, River Plate's Romulo Casado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Krzysztof Oleszak. Krzysztof Oleszak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. The supporters of Real Zamość booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Mugur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, River Plate's Romulo Casado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. In the 46th minute, Ludomir Michnik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Romulo Casado made the kick off in the second half. Romulo Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 52nd match minute, Real Zamość was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomir Michnik to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Real Zamość's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Casado came free, but Krzysztof Oleszak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Quiroga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeusz Koczara in the 57th minute. Tadeusz Koczara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Genaro Quiroga made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Ludomir Michnik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Miromir Chrobak came free, but Genaro Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Romulo Casado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Krzysztof Oleszak was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Romulo Casado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Krzysztof Oleszak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Real Zamość's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Casado came free, but Krzysztof Oleszak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Romulo Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krzysztof Oleszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 93 minutes into the game, River Plate's Romulo Casado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
