Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maikol Colon in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elar Queron was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of CD SHETTANI booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaaf Groeneveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 16th minute of play forced CD SHETTANI's goalkeeper Elar Queron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, CD SHETTANI's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Elar Queron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Maikol Colon came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. If Wilbert Ugalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CD SHETTANI booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim Wilmes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elar Queron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 32nd minute of play forced CD SHETTANI's goalkeeper Elar Queron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, David Eikelkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Eikelkamp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute of the match, Wilbert Ugalde tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilbert Ugalde in the 45th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lu Shu Fan got free with Arnout Reekers in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of CD SHETTANI booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijn Doctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the game, Lu Shu Fan lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Arnout Reekers. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. With a little luck, CD SHETTANI's Elar Queron got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute Maikol Colon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Maikol Colon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Elar Queron made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. Ülo Nõmmoja took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. A hard shot 79 in the game by Gustaaf Groeneveldt from a close distance when the talented Elar Queron managed to make a qualified save. CD SHETTANI's players were relieved. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 79th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lu Shu Fan in the 82nd minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elar Queron came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Elar Queron in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
