The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laurgain Ruiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurgain Ruiz in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurgain Ruiz went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score.
