After some careless play in the Carrapichel - FDFDF defense, Issac Dawson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edson Bertassi. The Carrapichel - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edson Bertassi should have stopped the shot. After 12 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Leighton Davies. Cooper Thompson hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Edson Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Gallagher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edson Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 31st minute of play. Eriberto Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalkeeper Edson Bertassi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Carrapichel - FDFDF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. England were winning 0-1.

After recieving a nice pass, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Rogério Alcântara tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edson Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Issac Dawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when David Fernandes came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
