When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Viriato Moura sped through Zagórna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marian Gniech.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ertan Duman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Marian Gniech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Moura's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Felipinho Amorim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ertan Duman went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ertan Duman in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 89th minute of play forced Zagórna's goalkeeper Marian Gniech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Ertan Duman came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
