After a defensive mix-up in Albins Kamrater's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 played minutes Michael Påk rounded Hungary's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Åke Jönsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Jan-Åke Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Albins Kamrater's Oskar Wiklund got a free kick in the 35th minute. The supporters of Hungary booed when Albins Kamrater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Wiklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Hungary's Antal Valentin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan-Åke Jönsson. Jan-Åke Jönsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 61 minutes, Bakos Endre mouthed his way into the referee's book. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Balazs Lajos could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Jan-Åke Jönsson however easily saved by the left post. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krister Rudkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Påk in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Hegedus Henrik charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hegedus Henrik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hegedus Henrik to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Antal Valentin.
