Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. James Beadle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 17 in the game by Ricardo Pepi from a close distance when the talented Fodor Daniel managed to make a qualified save. Hungary's players were relieved. James Beadle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in GD Almargense's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. James Beadle came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Major Barna hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. James Beadle had in the 96thth minute some difficulties stopping Antal Valentin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the GD Almargense defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of James Beadle. The GD Almargense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that James Beadle should have stopped the shot. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
