Miramar's Fausto Raymundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Lesiecki came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Raymundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a free kick in the 12th minute. Miramar's Klement Lesiecki got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fausto Raymundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miramar's Fausto Raymundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 25th minute of play. Fausto Raymundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Raymundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Marciano Padro sent off a good shot on target. Sven Björnberg kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Wilfredo Gabino sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Lesiecki in the 50th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Fausto Raymundo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Fausto Raymundo in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 56th minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Bertin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Wim Wilmes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Fausto Raymundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. 68 minutes into the game, Sven Björnberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miramar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. A collision led to Miramar getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Sven Björnberg hit a great ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Fausto Raymundo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Miramar defense, Lars Meesters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Raymundo. The Miramar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Raymundo should have stopped the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Lesiecki came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Lars Meesters hit a great ball. Sven Björnberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Miramar's Sven Björnberg got a free kick in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
