With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Salvidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Spain's Omar Toledo in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Menchu FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 8 minutes, Omar Toledo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Adria Bielsa came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Spain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adria Bielsa couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Pilarski in the 13th minute of the match. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Toledo in the 15th minute of play. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Herbert Pilarski made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. Spain's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Menchu FC's Uriel Gorri was substituted for Mayer Candelo. If Omar Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Gabriele Batistuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Ascaso was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Camilo Salvidor had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Jon Cubero's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 82nd minute, Jon Cubero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Menchu FC from getting a goal against them. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 93rd minute of the match. Gabriel Ascaso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriele Batistuta went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Spain played a much better game than Menchu FC and deserved their victory. The Menchu FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
