With an all-out effort, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Gabriel Ascaso threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Danell Mackiathan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 40 minutes into the match, Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Turgut Soyuer. David Abad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Toledo's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. When Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Turgut Soyuer in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. David Abad was a little too slow when Carles Cherro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Spain made a substitution. Sergio Ruiz replaced Adria Bielsa. 86 minutes into the match, Spain's Pau Herrero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Abad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Luan Pombo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Luan Pombo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ascaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Pombo came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Spain players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Chinese CJ Youth Academy from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
