Frīdis Smukais started the match with the kick off. Igmārs Pinkevics kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute Diogo Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brencis Dermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, GAUJA's Uldis Kuzītis got a free kick in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Luciano Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ique Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Vasconcelos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brencis Dermans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brencis Dermans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgars Rupeneits hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Brencis Dermans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 11th minute, Herberts Mendziņš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Diogo Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brencis Dermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Gustavo Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herberts Mendziņš in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Rinalds Brencsons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Duarte Arósio fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ique Football Club's protests and gave Duarte Arósio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ique Football Club getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Duarte Arósio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Nóbrega in the 25th minute of play forced GAUJA's goalkeeper Brencis Dermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Herberts Mendziņš was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GAUJA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ique Football Club the free kick. When Ique Football Club's Diogo Nóbrega in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GAUJA's goalie prevented a goal. Brencis Dermans came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ique Football Club's Diogo Nóbrega. But to his dismay, Diogo Nóbrega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 32 played minutes Ique Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Palmeira. During the 38th minute of the match Duarte Arósio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Duarte Arósio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Ique Football Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GAUJA:s goal. Edgars Rupeneits hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute César de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brencis Dermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The GAUJA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ique Football Club were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diogo Nóbrega to make the kick off. Frīdis Smukais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, GAUJA's Brencis Dermans got control of the ball when Diogo Nóbrega tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonas Rezende hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes, GAUJA's Igmārs Pinkevics shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Negri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GAUJA reached it. The supporters of Ique Football Club booed when GAUJA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uldis Kuzītis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Diogo Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ique Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogo Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uldis Kuzītis in the 65th minute of play forced Ique Football Club's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th match minute, Ique Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match Uldis Kuzītis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Gustavo Negri skillfully saved the ball. In the 69th match minute, GAUJA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igmārs Pinkevics to maneuver through the defense. Rinalds Brencsons took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Gustavo Negri. Luiz Gustavo Negri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 74th minute, Romualds Sausais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Ique Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Rinalds Brencsons came free, but Luiz Gustavo Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Gustavo Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uldis Kuzītis in the 82nd minute of play. When César de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ique Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César de Lima couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Luciano Vasconcelos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brencis Dermans was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Luciano Vasconcelos struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Brencis Dermans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ique Football Club. Brencis Dermans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Nóbrega in the 95th minute of the match.
