Washington Trevisan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tadeo Oxarra came out and tried to block the shot, but Washington Trevisan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Español's Ismael Liberto got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the game, FC La Masia's Dida Alves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeo Oxarra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 16 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Salvadore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Español's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC La Masia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Español's Ezequiel Salvadore got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Washington Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Oxarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Trevisan in the 22nd minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Tadeo Oxarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Washington Trevisan scored 4-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeo Oxarra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Erasmo Gutierrez fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Español's protests and gave Erasmo Gutierrez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Erasmo Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inácio Toledo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Club Deportivo Español's Tadeo Oxarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Custódio in the 40th minute of play. Horacio Urki was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Washington Trevisan was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Club Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Gutierrez to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the game, Washington Trevisan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tadeo Oxarra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tadeo Oxarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 played minutes FC La Masia got a freekick which was hit by Dida Alves. 63 minutes into the match, Washington Trevisan notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Club Deportivo Español's Tadeo Oxarra. Tadeo Oxarra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th match minute, FC La Masia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Toledo to maneuver through the defense. If Ezequiel Salvadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fábio Custódio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Washington Trevisan made a precise shot to the right of Tadeo Oxarra. Club Deportivo Español's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 80th match minute, FC La Masia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Tadeo Oxarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dida Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, Club Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Ibar to maneuver through the defense. Tadeo Oxarra came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by FC La Masia's Washington Trevisan. But to his dismay, Washington Trevisan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. After 95 minutes of play Club Deportivo Español's Ezequiel Salvadore was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 95th minute, Ezequiel Salvadore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
