The supporters of ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG booed when GAUJA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Linz thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Roman Seiderer, a very annoying self made goal in the 33rd minute which led to 0-3. 44 minutes into the match, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's goal looked a bit too open when Rinalds Brencsons came free, but Roman Seiderer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto-Carlos Effenberger hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Igmārs Pinkevics took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roman Seiderer. ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half GAUJA were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dominik Korsus to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Herberts Mendziņš mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GAUJA and the ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roman Seiderer came out of the goal and Uldis Kuzītis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brencis Dermans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johann Zöllner, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
