If Davy Giacomoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basarab Balc scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nelson Cloarec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Felix Nourry got a free kick in the 11th minute. Basarab Balc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Cloarec having to interfere. A collision led to THE CRYSTAL SHIP getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Emil Josan hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes Formation Pure Lyonnaise got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Péret. Edgar Josan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelson Cloarec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Agudaru in the 20th minute of play. Nelson Cloarec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Balc, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Patrick Emmanuel got a free kick in the 26th minute. Gavril Turceanu had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Isaac Bernal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Isaac Bernal took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavril Turceanu. Gavril Turceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Basarab Balc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ilie Giosu came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the THE CRYSTAL SHIP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilie Giosu couldn't finish the play. Edgar Josan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davy Giacomoni to strike the kick off in the second half. Davy Giacomoni might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavril Turceanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Davy Giacomoni ran back to his position shaking his head. Remus Agudaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Cloarec having to interfere. Nelson Cloarec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Balc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remus Agudaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st match minute, THE CRYSTAL SHIP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basarab Balc to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Emmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Ilie Giosu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Cloarec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Remus Agudaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Cloarec having to interfere. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
