The supporters of GAUJA booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Ticho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rinalds Brencsons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Elorri having to interfere. After 6 minutes of play, GAUJA's Rinalds Brencsons made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Elorri was left in no man's land by his defense there! 9 minutes into the game, GAUJA's Herberts Mendziņš nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias Elorri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Elias Elorri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uldis Kuzītis in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rinalds Brencsons in the 15th minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Elias Elorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Elorri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uldis Kuzītis in the 19th minute of the match. Ģederts Raspodiņš kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 29 played minutes GAUJA got a freekick which was hit by Uldis Kuzītis. In the 31st minute Herberts Mendziņš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Elorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Nataniel hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Elias Elorri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rinalds Brencsons, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frīdis Smukais in the 37th minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Elias Elorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Rinalds Brencsons notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Almeyra F.C.'s Elias Elorri. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rinalds Brencsons during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute, Herberts Mendziņš got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Frīdis Smukais came free, but Elias Elorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frīdis Smukais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edelmiro Ticho during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edelmiro Ticho hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Elias Elorri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frīdis Smukais in the 79th minute of play. GAUJA's Frīdis Smukais got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. GAUJA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
