Vitin Martin's late challenge caught a Maltesholms FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitin Martin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Club Puerto Quito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitin Martin to maneuver through the defense. Carl Norberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pepito Plasencia in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Barrionuevo in the 26th minute of play forced Maltesholms FF's goalkeeper Carl Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo Barrionuevo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carl Norberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Oswaldo Barrionuevo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Maltesholms FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agne Mager to maneuver through the defense. Oswaldo Barrionuevo took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Norberg. Carl Norberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Pico Garonaga hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Espiga Burgo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match. Viktor Tinglöf shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Urbes Cenzano came out of the goal and Nils Danielsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carl Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Barrionuevo in the 98th minute of the match. Club Puerto Quito's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
