Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Nelson Cloarec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Juvenal in the 8th minute of play. In the 15th minute Pastor Bela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Cloarec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Davy Giacomoni in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Étienne Lebret came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Formation Pure Lyonnaise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Étienne Lebret couldn't finish the play. After 44 minutes, Étienne Lebret mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Formation Pure Lyonnaise and the Almeyra F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Étienne Lebret kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When Davy Giacomoni in the 47th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Elias Elorri kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rosendo Juvenal was the one to do the kick off. Esteban Laurentzi charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Laurentzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elias Elorri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davy Giacomoni in the 58th minute of play. Rosendo Juvenal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Cloarec having to interfere. When Pastor Bela came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Almeyra F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Bela couldn't finish the play. Patrick Emmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Formation Pure Lyonnaise getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Étienne Lebret hit a great ball. Rosendo Juvenal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davy Giacomoni in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Elorri saved Almeyra F.C. from getting behind. Esteban Laurentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Elias Elorri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Étienne Lebret in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Davy Giacomoni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Elias Elorri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rosendo Juvenal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nelson Cloarec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Almeyra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Juvenal. After a rather tough play, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Davy Giacomoni got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Formation Pure Lyonnaise could leave the field as winners, despite Almeyra F.C. having more of the ball for most of the match.
