Olívio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Barrionuevo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Olívio Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oswaldo Barrionuevo's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. A hard shot 29 in the game by João Paulo Lucas from a close distance when the talented Urbes Cenzano managed to make a qualified save. Club Puerto Quito's players were relieved. Olívio Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urki Espino in the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 52 minutes of play, FC La Masia's Washington Trevisan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urbes Cenzano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 55 played minutes FC La Masia got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Tróia. After a rather tough play, FC La Masia's Luiz Fábio Custódio got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 64th minute of the match Paulo de Toledo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urbes Cenzano skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Paulo Lucas in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbes Cenzano saved Club Puerto Quito from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Puerto Quito's Urki Espino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olívio Romero. That made the score 3-1 after 69 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio de Sousa in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urbes Cenzano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute João Paulo Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbes Cenzano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Piña hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. João Paulo Lucas took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urbes Cenzano. Urbes Cenzano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After 83 played minutes Club Puerto Quito got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Piña. 84 minutes into the match, FC La Masia's Paulo de Toledo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 86th minute João Paulo Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbes Cenzano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urbes Cenzano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Paulo Lucas in the 87th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Bonilla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olívio Romero. Rodolfo Bonilla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC La Masia could leave the field as winners, despite Club Puerto Quito having more of the ball for most of the match.
