After having played for 15 minutes, Etienne Van Thomme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Etienne Van Thomme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Oliver Reinke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Aragones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Israel Cesario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etienne Van Thomme in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Arnold Diekelmann notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of O rey Iván's Israel Cesario. Israel Cesario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 38 minutes into the match, Etienne Van Thomme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Israel Cesario. O rey Iván's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Etienne Van Thomme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Benito Dei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Oliver Reinke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Benito Dei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Jan-Oliver Reinke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to O rey Iván getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Amador Aragones hit a great ball. Israel Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Etienne Van Thomme in the 58th minute of the match. Israel Cesario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sali Urban went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's zone, Teodoro Maura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Oliver Reinke came out of the goal and Teodoro Maura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Benito Dei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Israel Cesario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Etienne Van Thomme, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. O rey Iván's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Etienne Van Thomme scored to the left of an out of position Israel Cesario, making the score, 2-5. In the 86th minute Etienne Van Thomme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Cesario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amador Aragones kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 93 minutes of play, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's Etienne Van Thomme made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Israel Cesario was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
