The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frīdis Smukais was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Herberts Mendziņš had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elias Elorri. Almeyra F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herberts Mendziņš was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Hugo Lucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brencis Dermans having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Frīdis Smukais left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GAUJA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. A collision led to GAUJA getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Herberts Mendziņš hit a great ball. Claudio Camerino was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Almeyra F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GAUJA:s goal. Frīdis Smukais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Elias Elorri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
