Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tord Åkerman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Tord Åkerman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Åkerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Viviano Baños's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the game, Yakov Blokhin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viviano Baños stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stanislaw Maziarski went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the match, Viviano Baños notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
